3. Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility
To use our Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United Kingdom
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
3.2 Account Creation
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach
3.3 Email Verification
We require email verification (double opt-in) to activate your account. This is essential for:
- Confirming your identity and preventing fraudulent accounts
- Ensuring you receive important transactional communications
- Protecting the security of gift card deliveries
- Enabling password reset and account recovery
You must verify your email address before you can make purchases or receive gift cards.
3.4 One Account Per Person
Each person may only create one HandySave account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions, cashback offers, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited and may result in account termination.
4. Gift Card Purchases
4.1 Purchasing Process
- Gift cards are sold at face value plus any applicable fees
- All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP)
- Payment must be completed using approved payment methods
- Orders are processed after successful payment verification
4.2 Gift Card Delivery
- Digital gift cards are delivered to your HandySave account
- Delivery confirmation emails are sent to your registered email address only
- We do not send gift cards to third-party email addresses
- Delivery times may vary depending on the retailer
4.3 Gift Card Terms
- Each gift card is subject to the issuing retailer's terms and conditions
- Gift cards may have expiry dates set by the retailer
- We are not responsible for retailer policies, product availability, or service quality
- Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered, except where required by law
4.4 Purchase Limits
We may impose limits on:
- The value of individual gift card purchases
- Total purchase amounts within specified time periods
- The number of gift cards purchased for specific retailers
These limits help prevent fraud and comply with regulatory requirements.
5. Cashback Programme
5.1 Earning Cashback
- Cashback rates vary by retailer and are displayed before purchase
- Cashback is credited to your account after successful order completion
- We reserve the right to modify cashback rates at any time
- Promotional cashback offers may have additional terms
5.2 Cashback Balance
- Cashback accumulates in your HandySave wallet
- Your balance is displayed in your account dashboard
- Cashback has no cash value until withdrawn
5.3 Withdrawals
- You may withdraw cashback to a UK bank account in your name
- Minimum withdrawal amounts may apply
- Withdrawal requests are processed within 5-7 business days
- We may verify your identity before processing withdrawals
5.4 Forfeiture
Cashback may be forfeited if:
- Your account is terminated for violation of these Terms
- Cashback was earned through fraudulent activity
- Your account remains inactive for 24 consecutive months

- Password Reset: Security emails for password recovery

These transactional emails are essential to the operation of our Service and cannot be opted out of while your account is active. They are:

- Adding our email addresses to your safe sender list
- Keeping your email address up to date in your account settings

- Anomaly detection and automated security rules
7.2 Order Review
We reserve the right to:
- Delay, suspend, or cancel orders pending security review
- Request additional verification before processing orders
- Decline transactions that appear fraudulent
- Report suspected fraud to relevant authorities

8. Prohibited Activities

- Create fake or multiple accounts

- Resell gift cards commercially without authorisation
- Exploit bugs, errors, or vulnerabilities in the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
- Circumvent security measures or access restrictions
- Provide false information or impersonate others
- Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Althemax International Limited and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Retailer names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for:
- Temporary service interruptions or maintenance
- Technical failures beyond our reasonable control
- Third-party service outages affecting our operations
10.2 Gift Card Issues
We are not liable for:
- Retailer refusal to accept valid gift cards
- Changes to retailer terms or policies
- Retailer insolvency or cessation of business
- Product or service issues with retailers
10.3 Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10.4 Exclusions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Althemax International Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights
12. Account Termination
12.1 By You
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Before closure:
- Withdraw any remaining cashback balance
- Download any gift cards you wish to keep
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- We suspect fraudulent activity
- Required by law or regulatory authorities
- Your account remains inactive for an extended period
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be revoked
- Unused gift cards remain valid per retailer terms
- Cashback may be forfeited if termination is due to Terms violation

13.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website
- Sending an email notification to your registered address
- Displaying a notice in the app
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Althemax International Limited regarding the Service.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
